Joshua got a Lego set for his birthday. It took him a little while but he got it all put together by himself. And he loves it.

Are any of y'all Gleeks? Did you see it this week? I LOVE the 2nd song they did for regionals. I have 2 friends with beautiful, talented, smart, sweet daughters who have been having a hard time lately with people saying hurtful (untrue) things about them. Some of these things have been said by adults, which is beyond unacceptable. Linda and I were talking this morning about how crazy hard it is to be growing up right now. We both grew up in the 80s. Graduated in '91 and '92. We thought that was hard. That was nothing.
In case you haven't heard it, "Loser Like Me," for my 3 babies and all my "adopted" babies. I love you T and M!

i saw last weeks glee and i LOVED that song!! i wonder what it will be like to raise my boys in changing times and i pray that i will have the strength and wisdom to shape them into good-hearted young men.

I LOVE Glee, I thought that song was amazing. I had a rough time in high school so definitely hit home for me. Lots of friends I had in junior high, 6, 7, 8th grade became my bullies when I came to high school. I was never good enough. I graduated 9 years ago and I can't imagine what it would be like now. I fear for my daughter and hope I can teach her the confidence so when she hits that age, she can have the attitude that that songs expesses.
I'm a proud GLEEK! I loved that show and song. I only hope that I can teach my kids to be kind to others and have confidence in themselves. My big guy is so reserved that it scares me. I never want my kids to go through what I went through in school. :(
Great DOF on that photo! And YES! Big time GLEEK over here. The song was great. And so was the show. I am kind of bummed that the show has gotten so racy though. I can't let my ballerinas watch and I think there are some good messages to be learned.

I'm a Gleekster! It's about the only show I DVR and watch anymore because it makes me happy. I haven't watched this episode but will soon and am looking forward to it. Have you heard the song by Pink called F*@ing Perfect? Raunchy title but go to You Tube and watch the music video and it really sends a powerful message.
LOVE you Lego picture. I had to look twice to see that it wasn't a real train car. Awesome job to both of you!
