The toy box shelf was completely full of books. You can see some of the pile of them in the lower part of the photo. The books I spent a good 10 minutes going through and arranging earlier this morning. And that he had to dump off the shelf in order to move the toy box across the room. At least he's cute, right?
The afternoon was spent running a few errands and getting Emaleigh and Matthew ready for and dropped off at a church youth group retreat. They're going to Winter Jam tonight and were/are very excited. Now Joe, Joshua and I are getting ready to go to Taylor's first home {softball} game at the high school. Should be fun! :-)

Isn't it amazing what a little bit of nice weather does? I am already making my spring-cleaning list. Cute that he wanted to finish the re-arranging. :)

Like mother, like son. It's so fun how children mimic our comments as well as our actions, and it looks like you're setting a good example for him. And I guess we should all be thankful that he was excited about the changes you made to his room and wanting to do more rather than being all mad that you went in there and messed with "his stuff!"
When he finished re-organizing his books, I bet her felt a sense of accomplishment with the organization, even though you did almost all of it!
Sounds like a very productive day! It's funny how cranking the volume of the music up high makes cleaning so much easier.

I need some major motivation around here. I got some cleaning done but there is so much more to do. Such an endless cycle.
Oh we are in the process of changing too. He is very cute in doing that!
I am so looking forward to baseball/softball season!! Isn't it amazing how it seems that when we organize the kids gravitate to that one spot or toys that were gone through?! Love the lighting in the room!
