Our church has started a coed softball team. Joe signed up to play. They needed more women to play though and somehow I got talked into it. I have never played softball before. I have watched plenty and thrown the ball with both Matthew and Em in the backyard, but that's it. Our first practice was this afternoon.

Steve hitting and Joe playing catcher.

Julie pitching and Staci on first base.

Randy, Damon and Dan trying to catch what Steve hit.

Staci
Sorry, no pictures of me {I'm not really sorry about that ;-)} I think Randy should demote me to team photographer, since my playing ability leaves a lot to be desired.

Look at that sun!! Looks so nice and warm! It's really nice here today as well! Makes our snow not so bad. How fun to play softball!!
good for you! have fun!
I can't imagine playing myself either! Good luck, but I'm sure you'll enjoy it :)
I like how you caught the ball in mid air. Sports are hard!
You go girl! I'm proud of you for trying something new.
Looks like a lot of fun!!
How fun! Loved the action shot in the air.
I am proud of you for trying... I would've said no and stuck to being photographer...lol. You go girl!
Good for you...it looks like a fun day! I hope you'll play again. :)
Love all the shots. I loved playing softball growing up. I love doing teams like that because it's less about winning and more about having fun and being a team. I bet at the end you'll love it and wish it wasn't over. ;)
i love the action shots... so cool! i'm like you... totally lacking in the sports department! lol!
great action shots, Amy!!! I played Co-Ed softball for my co-worker's daughter's fund raising. It was fun. Although we never won, I had so much fund!! IT was my first time.
