We had a busy day today. Joe had today off and we wanted to do something fun with the kids. It was beautiful outside so we decided on Frankie's Fun Park.

I'm bummed I cut the club off but I still like this.

"Dude, I'm gonna pass you right now." He had a great time driving. When we went on the "big" karts, he rode with me and kept telling me to pass people and go faster. And why wasn't his steering wheel working??

He gets it from his dad ;-)

Joe, Matthew and I did the batting cages. Em and Josh didn't want to. I wish I would have noticed that extra bat before I started shooting.

Em was there, I promise. Somehow I have a hard time getting pictures of her when we're out doing things.

Thanks to everyone for their sweet comments on my flower photos. I do not have a macro. It's on my forever growing list of wants. I use my 50mm on pretty much everything but Matthew's baseball games and softball practices.

Looks like you had a beautifiul day and a fun time at the park. I keep coming back here to look at "cloud" That is a perfect name for him with his coloring.

What a fun day!! Looks like the weather was perfect. Great batting photo. I am the same way...I really like a photo and there always seems to be something I didn't notice. All great photos!

Shorts. Putt-putt. Go-carts. Slushies. I'm jealous. ;) Looks like a good time though.

Looks like fun! Don't you just hate it when you find out after the fact that some object is in the foreground/background?! Ugh! It still looks good though. :D

You definitely get some great action shots!!!! And you're really good at it!!! Though the club was cut off, in the first photo, you were able to make it work!!!

Ah, don't feel bad about not having a macro. It's in my list, too!!! And I used my 50mm for close-up shots. Have you tried using close-up filters?

What a wonderful, fun family day. You are such a good Mom. Ever since you told me your 50mm stays on your camera most of the time, I've been inspired to use mine more too. I even used it exclusively on a photo shoot I did today and other than having to keep backing up, it really did a nice job for me.
