The sun is back and it's warming up again today. I noticed yesterday that more of Jen's irises had bloomed but it was too windy to get any shots of them. Today is relatively calm though so I gave it a try.
It was still a little breezy so these aren't quite as sharp as I would like but they're such pretty flowers, I didn't think it would matter much ;-)
A few more, because I couldn't stop with just one.

These are beautiful! I've been wanting to try out using textures. These shots would be perfect to try them out on. That second shot is my favorite. :)
Just beautiful!!! I am looking forward to more color around here.
Thank you for letting me know about my blog posts. I am not sure what is going on. I noticed it just entered the blog roll dashboards now??? Maybe I have a time problem. Thanks though!!
These are all gorgeous! I love Iris...and their fragrance....
These are incredible! WOW! Your flower shots just keep getting better and better. I think you should print a few of them and frame them together some how because they're too gorgeous not to enjoy every day in some fashion or another. I especially love the dreamy backgrounds on the first two; your bokeh is outstanding!
Gorgeous love the last one!
These are stunning, I love the colors! I can see why you didn't stop at one! :)
LOOOOVE these! Are you using a macro lens? If so, which one? I agree with the pp that your flower photog is amazing. I also agree that you should frame them. Just beautiful. :D
So very pretty! Green and purple always make for a dramatic picture.
