Since attempting to play softball, it's become obvious how out of shape I am. Okay, okay. I knew that before. It's just much harder to ignore now. Running is not an option. My knees and hips won't allow it. The front wheel on my bike was bent by a child who shall remain nameless and I have not taken it to get fixed yet. So walking it is. One loop around the neighborhood is about 1 mile. I try to do at least 2 loops.

You go girl! I need to do the same.
i love the perspective on this. and good for you on becoming more active! i know i need to do it too!
You are a good example for us all.
I definitely need to get moving. Winter was not kind to me;(
Great composition with the rule of thirds... I never manage to get a decent self-portrait...
Hee hee...as I am sitting here and before reading this I told myself I should be on the treadmill instead! I think it's time I high tail it to do some walking/running....:) Great photo!! Did you use a tripod or did you daughter take this photo. It's great!
What a great way to capture this. I've taken to walking with a neighbor of mine. She is very energetic, but that is good...she keeps me motivated.
Walking is good it uses lots of muscles. I like walking than running but want to run - I am just unfit :-)
true..i love the POV and how you were able to remain yourself in focus. Did you use manual focus on this or you locked your focus first before running into the spot. I have attempted such but I always turned out blurry...LOL
Really love this capture. I am a walker too. Running brings more pain than good for my body. :)
LOVE this! I don't know what it is about self portraits, but I really love them. It feels vain to do them, but I LOVE when people post them. I need to get over that. Good on you for getting some more exercise. My scale is tipping and it's really bumming me out. Give me a call and I'll join you on your next walk. :)
We should start a walking club!
As soon as our weather is warmer, I'll be walking to! Nice comp!
