I've been wanting to try this shot for awhile. I took advantage of having a captive with no escape....I mean, a willing model on spring break ;-) It's not as good as some I've seen but I kind of like it. She got her eye color from me and her lashes from her dad, lucky girl. I just love her freckles too.

this is beautiful! I haven't done a lash shot yet but it's on my list. So glad you "weathered" the storm and you have power back.
Hope the storm is done and out of your way...beautiful lashes and the freckles on the nose is sooo darn cute...
Lovely lashes! I always wish I had my kids lashes as well! Beautiful shot!
Beautiful capture! I hope she likes it, too!
This is a beautiful shot. What were your settings? I can never get both sets of eyes in focus when I try this shot.
gorgeous! love the freckles too :)
The whole nation seems to be in the storm zone lately! Hang in there. The freckles are what catches my eye here. Love them.
I've been admiring all the cute baby lash shots and was sad I didn't do them with my kids when they were smaller, but you've shown me they can be equally beautiful and even more moving on a young girl, so I'm going to give it a try. Thanks for the inspiration.
BTW, I used my 24-70mm 2.8L lens on the frisbee shots. It just about lives on my camera. I love it's flexibility but it's not always as sharp as I'd like it to be, so when I do a portrait or have the space, I use my 50mm 1.4.
What lens did you use on your lash photo? It is so nice!
Oh, she's soooo lucky to have such luscious lashes!
And, yes. We had the nastiest storms here too. Blew our arbor over in the garden.
I love the angle! Freckles are so cute!!
I love the lashes! I love the freckles more!
Very pretty! And I love her freckles.
