I'm totally cheating with this photo. I took it yesterday. I wasn't happy with it so I tried it again today. I'm even less happy with today's results. Time and weather weren't in my favor so I'll try it again another day. But, that means I have nothing for today. So I converted this to black and white (I did that today, does that count??) and am going with it.

I think it's fantastic!
I agree. I think this is breathtaking. I love the softness to it and the framing of your daughter. I am loving the light as well! Beautiful! I am looking forward to seeing what you wanted to accomplish though!
What don't you like about it. I really like the composition and the light. You have a beautiful daughter!
I agree with all the above. This is a beautiful picture of a lovely young lady. I love her pose and the light bouncing off her hair. And I think the B/W conversion works nicely with it. I love how B/W can really change a photo and salvage something we aren't happy with into a very nice picture. I too would be curious to see what you were aiming for.
This looks perfect to me. I love those trees in the background and the bokeh there. Pretty daughter you have.
I love how the trees frame her on the camera left and the backlighting on her hair....not sure what you were aiming for either. Is it the color version you are unhappy about?
I do that too, when needed. You need to do what works for you, no reason to get stressed out about it:)
I love it, a vintage touch to it and of course great subject!
I like it! Great composition!
It's funny to me how others can think it is a gorgeous photo (which I do) but all we see are the flaws. Really, I would frame this! I love the B/W edit. :D
I love this! Love how the trees look like they are sparkling and the back lighting. I agree with above, frame it! :)
WHAT??? i'm in love with it!
