45/365 Love is

patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking. It is not easily angered. It keeps no record of wrongs.

I'm not a fan of Valentine's Day. I never have been. I think we ought to tell those we love that we love them every chance we get. I don't like that I'm expected to act, say or feel a certain way on a certain day. Stubborn? Yes, yes I am ;-)

We had that scripture read at our wedding. And yes. Every day is as precious as the next.

I like valentine's day BUT I fully agree with you... love is about much more than one day!

We also had it read by the notary public during our elopement (sunset wedding)!

Your photo is so simple and yet so powerful. There are no truer words. Nice touch for today vs. all the commercialism. My favorite part of the day was having dinner by candlelight with my hubby and kids, simple yet so much fun.

Certainly! I agree. I have never bothered much for the actual day except this year just wanted to be a bit different to my normal self :o)
