Today's prompt is "what they wear." I had to think about this one a little while. Until I remembered Em's shoes. She
had to have these shoes when we were school shopping. And they
had to be black. No pink or purple for her. Or any other "girly" colors or designs. She's
so over all that. I'm pretty sure every one of her friends has the exact same pair of shoes too.

Oh the joys of shopping for your teen... Everything HAS to be a certain way... Remember when we were their age?!?!?!
Now those are some cute shoes! :)
LOL. I do remember. My mom refused to go shopping for me because I was so picky.
I like him. Wish I had a pair.
I would love a pair of those as well....I just remember my shoes like that from when I was younger and they really hurt my heels...I am sure they are much better now! Great what they wear photo!
My kids love their Chucks too. But definitely pink for D (she is 2)! haha
Misty and Tracy-we got them at Target :-)
I like them too and have been tempted to buy a pair for me but wouldn't want to be accused of trying to dress/look like my teen ;-)
Haha I remember being that picky too. Great choice in shoes! :)
Awww, you know I love this one! They really are super cute aren't they. Your shot is so wonderfully crisp. Nice job.
gotta love the chucks!
One can never go wrong with a classic pair of chucks. :)
It's funny how shopping with a teen can simulataneously be infinitely fascinating and super exasperating. I love watching my daughter's tastes change and develop as she becomes more solidly her own person but ohmygoodness, she can drive me crazy with things having to be "just so"! I can't complain too much though as I remember being the exact same way. ;)
Sydney is still into the pink... but she just turned 6... great capture here!
Nice - someone else posted pink ones today :-) Cool shoes.
Lol...no pink or blue...just black. Yep, sounds like something I would have done, too. Nice close up.
I'm going to be so sad when mine don't want to wear pink or purple Chucks anymore. I see all the middle schoolers dressed in dark skater clothes and I cry a little. :)
