130/365 basball. again.

{I took these last night but was too tired to post them}

Matthew had another game last night. He has one more this week, then 2 make up game next week. Then playoffs. He played 2nd and 3rd base yesterday and did a good job. He had 2 great catches at 3rd to get the batter out but I didn't get either of them on camera. He got walked once and had 2 good hits but one of them got caught.

It was starting to get dark so I had to up the ISO on the next series. The settings are: ISO640, f4, ss 1/1000.

He was safe. The catcher didn't have the ball yet :-)

And just because he's cute.....

Once again, I love them all! Since I will be taking some baseball photos this summer, is that the best shutter speed you have found to have your camera set at to prevent motion blur? I always enjoy your baseball photos. They are so crisp!!

Thanks Tracy! Actually, I prefer the shutter speed just a bit faster. You can see in the first sliding one that his arms/hands are a bit blurry. In the batting photo, I had it at 1600, which I've found for me is about right :-)

Love the reflection in Josh's glasses! :)

Love the bokeh (and the smile!) in the last photo...and the way you stopped the ball in the first one. The clarity is amazing (it makes me want to rush out and buy a new camera!!!).

Have a wonderful day, Amy.
