125/365 leaving on a jet plane...

Yep, I'm showing my age. Really hope I'm not the only one who knows that song. LOL.

Anyway, Josh and I drove up to Charlotte this morning to pick up Joe's parents from the airport. They flew down for the Darlington Race on Saturday {Joe, his dad and sister are going to it} and will be here almost a week. We're all excited to spend some time with them. We were a little early so we went up to the top of the parking garage to see if we could see any planes taking off. Turns out it was a good place to see them.

"...don't know when I'll be back again." I definitely know that song. :) How fun to watch the planes take off, I loved doing that as a kid and still find it fascinating now.

Lol...I was humming the song when I read the title and clicked on the thumbnail. ♪..don't know when I'll be back again...♪♫ It's such a catchy tune.

Nice, clear shot of the plane, Amy. You're so good at that. If you drove another hour north of Charlotte, you could have come to my house for a visit. :)

We have that John Denver CD. That's how old we are! Like the composition on this one.
