We are jumping for Joy today. Last summer, my younger sister was diagnosed with breast cancer. She underwent a double mastectomy, chemo and radiation. Today was her last day of radiation. Hence the jumping for Joy ;-) I wish I could give her a great big hug right now but hopefully I'll be able to soon.
Our grandma had breast cancer 5 or 6 years ago but other than that, we don't have a family history. Especially at such a young age. She was 33 when she was diagnosed. She just turned 34 last month. Too young even for the "early" mammogram if you have a family history.
I'm totally not happy with the jumping photo but it's all I took today and I can't look at it any longer. So I'm posting another one to make up for the awfulness. This is from Matthew's baseball game Friday night.

Love that last shot too. The DOF and composition and his focus, all of it is great!
If this jumping photo is awful, you'd better not look at my blog. LOL!

You are way too hard on yourself! I think the jumping one is great--and the kids look like they loved it, too! And, yes, the last one is great too!
glad to hear about your sister's condidtion. tell her I admire her toughness to get through all the radiation and other process.
LOve the sweetness of the second photo. Though the jumping shot was already good in itself, I am glad you took another one. :)
Best reason to jump!! Great captures.
