Today was the last day of school. I think I like summer break at least as much as the kids do. I don't like getting up and ready early, fighting over homework and projects. I don't like having to miss out on fun activities because the kids need to get to bed. I'm not a schedule person and would rather relax and do things as they come up.
Some jumping for joy because school is out for the summer shots:
Emaleigh, now 9th grade.
Matthew, now 7th grade.
Joshua, now 3rd grade. We need to work on his jumping skills. LOL

These are great! At first I thought there must be a trampoline...I feel the same as you about kids out of school for the summer. I never understood mom's who couldn't wait to send them back either.

I'm with you on your summer thoughts. We've really enjoyed going to bed late and sleeping in around here! Summer rocks in our world. We have a lot of fun and for me it's a time to really slow down and connect with the kids.
And you know I love your action shots! They are awesome as usual! Thanks for sharing some of your tips, I think they really helped me out and I'll always think of you as I'm cranking up my shutter speed!

Now that mine are a bit older I am all about summer vacation too. Bring it!
