Happy New Year!

I spent New Year's Eve with 4 of my favorite people. It was Joshua's first time being allowed to stay up until midnight and he did great. I knew he would-he's a night owl. We made some yummy food we don't normally have, which made the kids very happy. Emaleigh got the Just Dance game for Christmas so we decided to try that out. It made it very obvious that none of us can dance. LOL. And what a work out! It's a lot of fun though, as long as you can laugh at yourself (and fellow players!). Since only 4 can play at a time, with a controller, we took turns switching out. I took advantage of my time sitting out by grabbing the camera and sneaking a few shots. I really need a wide angle lens for in the house. Saving my pennies for one and maybe I'll be able to get it in a few months.





After we were all exhausted from Just Dance, we played Mario Kart and then watched the USC game. That ended in time to see a bit of what was going on in Time's Square before the ball dropped.

Doesn't everyone toast the New Year with root beer, orange soda, diet Mt. Dew and Pepsi? LOL. I couldn't have asked for a better way to start 2011-with the family that I love.
