And the day came when the risk to remain tight in a bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom.

We had a difficult couple of days this week. It's nothing I want to share here but yesterday morning after I went to school to straighten things out, I stopped at my favorite place to get some nature pictures. I had planned on sitting by one of the ponds on the swing. But there was another person there already taking pictures. I didn't want to disturb her so I kept walking. An adorable white dog came running from around the pond and looked at me. Then ran a little ways and looked back at me again. So I followed it and it kept looking back to make sure I was coming. We ended up at another pond. That's away from everything and very peaceful. Then the dog disappeared into the woods.

It was lovely. I spent awhile there, soaking up the quiet, having a conversation with God and shooting pretty nature-y stuff.

I wouldn't have gotten any of these if I had stuck with my original plan.

God put that dog in that very spot exactly when it you needed. I love how His ideas are different than ours. And these images are absolutely stunning. Perfect. And I am still praising God that everything turned out just perfectly yesterday! I love you!
It sounds like it was just the diversion you needed on a difficult day. Beautiful flowers...especially the top one with all that dreamy bokeh!
These are all beautiful. I would take mountains over beach any day.
