I am looking forward to the 31st and being done with this project. It's been fun and I've "met" some wonderful people but I am just out of ideas. A few people have asked....I will not be doing another 365 next year. This is actually my 2nd time doing it. The first was in 2008. I don't know if I'll ever do another one but it won't be right away if I do.

A few people have also asked for my fudge recipe so here y'all go :-)
3/4 cup evaporated milk
1/4 cup butter
2 1/4 cups sugar
7oz jar marshmallow creme
2 cups chocolate chips (I use Ghiradelli milk chocolate-I think they taste the best)
1 teaspoon vanilla
Butter/spray 9 inch square pan. In heavy 3 quart saucepan, combine evaporated milk, butter, sugar and marshmallow creme. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture comes to a rolling boil. Boil and stir 5 minutes. Remove from heat and immediately add chocolate chips and vanilla, stirring until smooth. Pour into prepared pan. Cool completely and cut into squares.
We will be spending time with friends and family for much of the next 10 days. I will try to post as often as I can and check in with everyone. Hope everyone has a fantastic Christmas!

I enjoyed seeing your pictures during this project, sad you aren't doing another year :(
Love this shot!
I'm done too! This is my second year in a row. I have loved meeting people and I plan on posting probably once a week next year, but two years is enough. Maybe 2013 :)
Merry Christmas! Your fudge recipe looks almost the same as mine. Love it!
Merry Christmas, Amy! I'll miss you next year. Hope you have a blessed -- restful -- new year!
Merry Christmas! I've been in a year-end funk with the blog, too. I need a break as well. I'd like to do a 52 project but I have to convince myself since I really, really want to catch up on things like editing!
lol!! good for you on keeping up with this project!! i'm with ya... i don't think i have it in me to do another year. perhaps, in the future... :)
I totally applaud you for sticking with it for a whole year. I just can't do it. I'm trying to come up with some type of photo project for 2012, but I know I can't commit to a 365. Do you think you'll do any type of photo project next year?
I hear you! I thought about doing it again but then realized I wanted to spend some reading and watching all the bazillion tutorials I've paid for and/or bookmarked that I just haven't had time for. Plus, toward the end, I didn't feel inspired anymore, and I feel my photos reflected that. I love what I captured over the course of the year, and the friends like you that I met, but I'm ready to explore some other avenues. I'll still look forward to seeing what fun things you do post, watching the kids grow up and checking out what antics Cloud is up to!
