331/365 traditions

It's Thanksgiving weekend so that means it's time to put up the Christmas tree. We cranked the Christmas music and got all the decorations out. We were a little worried about what Cloud would do with the tree but so far he's pretty much ignored it. We left the bottom mostly free of lights and decorations though, just in case. After the tree was up and decorated, we lit the fire in the fireplace, made some hot chocolate and watched A Christmas Carol together. I love family traditions.

I have never been able to get a picture of the tree that I've liked but I'm fairly happy with this one.

So pretty Amy. The tree is beautiful and wonderfully exposed, and I love the photos above your fireplace. This is like getting a little sneak peak into your home and I must say, it makes me want to head right over to join you all for a wonderful evening! BTW, be thankful Cloud is not interested in the tree...I can't say the same about you know who over here!!! And its driving me nuts!

oh i love traditions!!! they become so important during the holidays, don't they?! love the tree and even though we don't have a cat, we leave the bottom pretty much undecorated because of some curious toddler hands! ;)

I love your tradition. I was talking to a friend today and she asked what our Christmas traditions were, and I could only think of a few. I need to work on this some more.

Love that pic of Em above the fireplace! Is it a canvas?
