262/365 day 8: A bad habit

Procrastination.

I have always been a procrastinator. In school, I would wait till the last minute to write that paper for English class. Now, I put off laundry or grocery shopping until I have to do it in favor of playing on the computer or reading a good book. I tell myself I work better under pressure ;-)

My mother would be horrified if she saw this......

Ugh, putting myself out there, aren't I? Can I say that since this was taken earlier today, the counter has been cleaned off, the dishes have been done, the dishwasher has been run, several loads of laundry have been washed, dried and folded {though not put away}. The cat litter box has been changed and the floors have been swept. Because I was feeling a bit guilty {and like a slob}. And just in case my mother happens to see this.

Ugh, I hear ya. I'm not great on consistently keeping things in their place. I felt vulnerable after posting mine too.

You are "real", and that is good. We all have days like this one.

I love seeing this other side of you, and believe me, I can relate! Love it. I just read this yesterday on another blog and I loved it so much I hung it over my desk:

“ when a daunting task lays ahead and you don’t want to tackle it, just remember, once you have started it, you are half finished.”

I am a huge procrastinator, but thankfully I have a husband who gently pushes me. Love how you decided to show us this side of you.

Oh yes, this is totally me too. I always put my chores (and work) off. Cool shot though.

This makes me love you even more! I am a big time procrastinator too. I always waited until the last minute to do school projects. And I procrastinate all the house stuff now too. We are cut from the same cloth. :)

So can relate! As a homeschool mommy, we have papers, books and what not galore. Love the realness to this!
