Em, hanging out in the pool.
There were a few options for fireworks but we decided to go to Newberry because they were supposed to have skydivers as well. The boys had a great time on the inflatables and we ate some funnel cake for the first time (I prefer an elephant ear, but it was good). Pretty soon, we saw a small plane circling the football field.
The perfectly good airplane 3 people were going to jump out of.
They circled until they got to 5000 feet and then they all jumped, one right after another.
I managed to get one picture with all three of them in it.
The guy with the yellow and purple chute was doing flips and spins.
I think this one is my favorite. I love that you can see the sun reflected on the flag and his parachute.
It was pretty cool to watch. The kids really liked it too.
